Last night I read through 400 pages of a deposition and court transcripts for our relocation hearing in 2018. It was like reliving it.
Lee didn’t know what happened exactly that day in the court room because he was sequestered. He also wasn’t privy to the deposition prior to the trial.
As I read it instead of feeling the victory I once felt, it was replaced by a deep sadness mixed with equal parts thankfulness.
I can not believe I lived in that world for 12 years. The woman I am today wouldn’t make it 12 minutes.
